Product Owner

Our Client is a data management and risk assessment startup, looking for a dedicated Product Owner to join an experienced team of engineers and data analysts who are helping shape the future of construction technology. They recently launched a risk analytics tool to be used by general contractors in their efforts to assess and pre-qualify subcontractors in the construction space and are about to kick off development of their first mobile application – an on the ground construction project and blueprint management tool.
 
What You’ll Do:
incorporate feature requests into a product roadmap
groom and prioritize the development backlog
develop user stories and define acceptance criteria
write acceptance tests
• follow progress of work and address production issues during development cycles.
• analyze preferences and requests of end users
• continuously refine agile methodology based on results and client feedback
 
What You’ll Need:
previous work experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management
a technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies
amazing communication skills
• familiarity with an issue tracking systems (Jira)
• experience at finding solutions using both quantitative and qualitative research  
• the ability to influence without authority when dealing with varied user groups.
• a focus on driving strategy, using your knowledge and expertise to ensure the team drives what’s needed to fulfill both short-term and long-term company goals
• excellent organizational skills
